It was Ferdinand Lange who started the watch business in Glashütte in 1945 and this meant the beginning of the well-respected German watchmaking region. It was 1871 when Ferdinand’s two sons joined his company and the family company ‘A. Lange & Söhne’ was officially founded. Throughout Lange’s existence, many impressive movements and watches were crafted, this is why the brand is the most beloved and respected manufacturer which is not from Switzerland.

A. Lange & Söhne is known for working a lot with precious metals and crafting all of their own parts with their own classical style. This watch is the ‘Lange 1′, a true icon in the L&S collection.
