Festina Diver 600F
Here we have an example of a bit of a sleeper segment: skin divers!
Skin divers date back to the golden age of dive watches, and are intended as casual dive watches for daily use on dry land as well. They are usually a bit slimmer than true dive watches and lack the supreme depth rating of a Submariner or Fifty Fathoms. But for your average aquatic fun, they were more than capable.
This example was made by Festina. It comes in the familiar skin diver case, fitted with a steel rotating bezel. This one used to be capable of handling 600ft of pressure, surpassing most skin divers.
Most notable here is the dial. It is stark black with beautiful yellow tritium. The hour markers are coffin-shaped and Arabic three, six, nine, and twelve numerals complete a cool look. A red date provides a dash of color.
