The Master Control line is a program created by Jaeger-LeCoultre to counter the Swiss Chronometer testing institute (COSC). The idea of this line was to create a line of watches that represented the values of pure, classic watchmaking, with a focus on simple aesthetics, functionality, understated technology, and long-term performance. Along with the initial collection of watches, Jaeger-LeCoultre started its “1,000 Hours Control” quality check program, in which subjects finished watches to a six-week program of tests.
The Geographic truly does live up to the name as it features several useful complications such as a world time-GMT, power reserve, and the date complication. Measuring in at 39mm it should be perfect for any modern man to be accompanied by this masterpiece. Comes with the instruction manual and JLC service papers
