Cartier Americaine 18K Rose Full set
The term “icon” is easily thrown around in the watch world. Some watches, however, are truly deserving of the qualification. How about a model that was introduced in 1917 and remains in production today? A model with military history. In fact, the name and design were inspired by a Renault FT-17 tank. We feel it is pretty safe to say: the Cartier Tank is an icon!
In 1921, Cartier added the Tank Cintrée to the lineup. An elongated version of the familiar design. In 1989, yet another variant was added; A more curved brother to the Cintrée, dubbed the “Americaine”.
The one on offer here is a lovely 18k rose gold variant from 2009. It is in beautiful condition and comes complete with box and papers.
