Breguet Type XX Aeronavalle Ref. 3803 Limited
When we think of Breguet most people think of marine and classic designs. But they do a lot more. In the fifties, Breguet produced a watch for the french airforce fitted with a flyback mechanism. Here we have a direct descendant of that watch.
The one you see here is from 2010. It appears a bit larger than it is, the case measures 40 mm. The highlight of the show is not one thing, but the overall design. Originally designed for use by French naval aviaton forces in the 1950s, the Type XX chronograph was revived in a limited edition run in 2010 to celebrate the centennial anniversary of the naval air arm of France.
1000 made, we have number 13, coming as a full set with original box and papers. Originally a tool watch, now a luxury watch for every occasion. Come and check it out at Reestraat 3 in Amsterdam.
