Patek Philippe Calatrava Ref. 5026 18K

Black Magic!

The story begins in 1932 when Patek Philippe introduced a round-shaped watch. Inspired by Bauhaus, a clean design. The model was named for the cruciform logo used by Patek Philippe, itself was taken from the knights’ order which was founded 1158 in the city of Calatrava by the Abbot Raimondo.

Ref 5026 is a good example, yellow gold with the Breguet Arabic numerals and a rare subsecond. This combined with a black dial in a yellow gold case is black magic to us! A real original piece up to the strap, all Patek Philippe. The Master of the Maison himself has serviced the movement not so long ago, so service papers 2019 include the extract of the archive. The case back is sapphire so the movement, a true piece of art, with micro-rotor is visible.

We could write a hymn for this watch, but you have to see it for yourself! Be welcome!
