Rolex Sea-Dweller Ref. 16600 Full set
It has become quite the discussion; what is the best watch size when it comes to sports watches? Over the last 20 years, the trend has been bigger is better. The current sea-dweller is a brick on the wrist, 43mm, too heavy, too flashy in our modest opinion. When we look at this watch we think; this is a real professional diver watch that is still very wearable seven days a week.
The weight of the thick 40mm watch case really does give you the feeling you are wearing a serious divers watch, but with the brushed metal bracelet, the overall design feels very balanced and comfortable on the wrist. The aluminum bezel insert doesn’t catch the eye as the ceramics do. It still feels like a tool watch.
This reference of the sea-dweller is the evolution of the well-known triple six. This is the first sea dweller with the glossy black dial and solid end links, which makes it more of a modern Rolex watch than a vintage one. It does still have a tritium-loaded dial, so you get a little bit of both worlds! This watch is delivered with a box and papers and is in great condition. Available now.
