Rolex Submariner Ref. 114060 B+P
It was 1927 when Rolex gave swimmer Mercedes Gleitze a watch to wear as she swam across the English channel. A perfect reflection of the image of the company.
A couple of decades later, James Bond, would become the brand’s ambassador. In the 1962 movie ‘Dr. No’, Sean Connery wears a Submariner no date. Legend has it that the watch came from a cameraman. A nato strap was quickly fitted (but was a size too narrow) and that was that. Bond’s writer Ian Flemming was an avid Rolex fan and had put a Rolex on Bond in his novels as well. The Submariner is still regarded as equally at home with a wetsuit as with a tuxedo. That image was cemented by 007.
So whether you are a modern-day Sean Connery, or someone looking for the ultimate do-it-all watch, this no-date Sub from 2019 has got you covered! As new with box and papers.
