Rolex Submariner ‘Kermit’
The anniversary submariner
This might be the most desired Submariner from the 16610 generations. The Rolex Submariner date with this reference has been in production from 1987 until 2010 when it was replaced by its ceramic cousin. The green bezel insert was introduced in 2003 for the 50th anniversary of the Submariner. Since production ended in 2010 this ‘Kermit’ was produced for only 7 years making this one of the rarest Submariners with this reference.
The condition of this watch is good, the case is still super tight and the lugs are fat. The bracelet has a little bit of stretch, however, this is not uncommon on a 14-year-old watch. The green bezel insert has a little bit of wear on the top half but you’ll only notice this when looking very close. Rolex did just do a full service on this watch, and because of this, there are 2019 service papers with this watch which entitle you to the 2-year international warranty, the original box is included as well.
Many people believe this is the prettiest Submariner ever made and these watches are getting more difficult to get a hold on by the day. We’re located in the Reestraat, Amsterdam.
