Rolex Day-Date Ref. 1803 Rose Gold incl. Service Papers 2015
Never ever have I.. seen a pink gold 1803 Day-Date in this stunning condition.
The president of Rolexes in the warmest colour ever made. Since its introduction, the Rolex Day-Date became the flagship model of the Swiss watch brand. Its status is unrivaled because the most influential and wealthy people in the world started wearing one since day one. The Day-Date was only produced with precious metals, and the rarest of them all is the pink gold one we have.
Durability is something Rolex values very much, so until Rolex developed its own strong Everose in 2005 they used very very little pink gold. When finding a pink gold Rolex watch form before 2005 the condition determines the value mostly. Yes, they’re rare but when they’re worn down people don’t want to wear them anymore and then represent only little value. When finding a 1968 Day-Date in pink gold in mint condition you can hear some passed away presidents all around you. This is an incredible find and the best pink gold 1803 Day-Date I’ve personally come across.
The original President bracelet has almost no stretch and is close to a new condition. The case is spotless and the dial is clean all the way. The pie-pan dial with doorstop hour-markers gives away the age of this piece and puts it in the sixties. This pink beauty had a full service at Rolex in 2015 of which we have the service papers and just got another movement service to ensure warranty. It’s available now so feel free to contact us by any means or stop by the shop, we’re located in the Reestraat, Amsterdam.
