Rolex Day-Date Ref. 1803 Rose
This early 1803 Day-Date has a uniquely classical aesthetic, due to the alpha hands and slightly more elaborate hour indices than you may be used to. By comparison, the more modern stick markers and baton hands look more clinical. This combination just screams “vintage”!
Combined with the warm look of the 18k rose gold case, what we have here is something stunning off the beaten tracks.
Being an 1803, four digit reference, there is no quickset for the day and date just yet. But we feel there is something charming about manually setting your watch. It builds a relationship that no modern, convenient apparatus can. We promise, wind and set this baby three or four times and you will feel ten times the connection with it that you feel with your smartphone!
