1985, the 40th anniversary of the Datejust, and of course the 80th from Rolex, they introduced the jubilee dial. The Jubilee dial, also known as the anniversary dial, features a repetitive ‘ROLEX ROLEX ROLEX’ pattern engraved on the entire surface of the dial.
And we have an example from 1991, with a black grey Jubilee dial. The Arabic numerals are applied and make a nice contrast. If you like a watch where is something happening on the dial, this could be the one for you!
