No longer in production, the Buckley dial was named after Rolex collector John Buckley. It was primarily made in the 1970s and 1980s and is characterized by the painted Roman numerals and matching painted hands. The style is reminiscent of Cartier’s famous dial designs. Buckleys can be found in a few different colors with either black or white numerals and hands. The one we have here is a crisp white with stark black. A beautifully timeless configuration further enhanced by the nicely yellowed tritium in the hands and pips around the perimeter of the dial.
