Rolex Datejust Ref. 16013 Tapestry

Here we have a very desirable configuration of the fabled Rolex Datejust: A two-tone, black dial, tapestry Ref. 16013.

Although this example dates back to 1978, it just screams eighties style. The bicolor execution and tapestry dial are just such archetypal eighties design elements.

The bracelet and the dial are a little younger than the case. They are original Rolex, likely service parts. That does not detract from the pure coolness of this quickset Datejust, though. If you love it, move quickly. You are probably not alone!
