The de Ville was born in 1960 as OMEGA’s elegant dress watch. Omega launches the De Ville as a separate line. More streamlined, varied and with a younger feeling. Aside from the aesthetics the model was a self winding watch. Before the de Ville became a stand-alone collection of watches, Omega used this name for some of the dress watches in its Seamaster collection.
