The De Ville went through a series of changes throughout its life. When it was first introduced in 1960, ‘De Ville’ was not printed on the dial. Instead, the line marketed itself through the monocoque design and its sports heritage by keeping the ‘Seamaster’ name. In 1967 ‘de Ville’ was launched as a separate line.
So tada….see here a Seamaster de Ville from 1969. In real mint condition equipped with automatic movement. Sunburst dial in a 34 mm 18k yellow case on a brown suede strap. The markers and hands have a little black stripe that is just a bit different.
Our collection of leather straps is huge! The watches we sell have a new strap, but of course, you are free to choose whatever you want…it is up to you!
