The forgotten one!
The Omega Ranchero found its life in the late 50s but was not a big success. In those days Omega was big, also in Spanishspeaking countries. Ranchero means Farmer in Spanish, not really attractive. So after two years, it was discontinued. In the 70s it had a revival, especially for the Belgium market.
See here a specimen of 1974 in mint condition. Black dial, original bracelet, automatic movement with pumpkin tritium. How vintage can it get? The black dial is not easy to come by these days, this is a matt version. Understated but also present, whichever you seak, this Ranchero will not let you down!
