Omega Coin ‘Double Eagle’ 18K

Sometimes you have to do something different and take a chance, take a leap of faith. So they did in 1965. Ref. BA 111.1763, 300 examples were made with the double eagle coin, as follows: BA 111.1707 simple coin watch, BA 111.1763 coin watch with pendant and BA 111.1777, a wristwatch. The double eagle coin was placed in circulation for the first time in 1850. It features the bust of Liberty surrounded by thirteen stars, representing the original states of the Union.

The Saint-Gaudens double eagle is a twenty-dollar gold coin, or double eagle, produced by the United States Mint from 1907 to 1933. The coin is named after its designer, the sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens, who designed the obverse and reverse. It is considered by many to be the most beautiful of U.S. coins.

Made from a real old coin 22k yellow gold, the case of the movement is 18k. This a one of them, serviced by Omega itself, so in mint condition. It has caliber 700 and is manual winded. Not for putting it on your wrist but maybe on your desk. Not a bitcoin but areal Omega coin!
