Omega Speedmaster Ref. 145.012
The Omega Speedmaster reference 145.012 is the latest model with the calibre 321 movements. The biggest difference with the predecessor reference 105.012 is the increased height of the “pusher caps”. The shape of the chronograph second counter has changed during the production of this reference. The Speedmaster that we offer here has the older type, the later type has a smoothed bottom. It’s all in the details folks!
The popularity of the Pre-Moon Speedmaster has been increasing for a while. In particular the models with the calibre 321 movements. Parts for this timepiece are becoming increasingly scarce and scarcer means more expensive. The DON (Dot Over Nine) bezel (or Dot Diagonal 70) is part of this reference, a characteristic to check the authenticity. This bezel has traces of wear as you can see on the photo. The dial, on the other hand, is in impeccable condition! And as the cherry on the cake for the collector….original box and papers!
