Doxa Sub 300T Orange

This vintage diver’s watch is a real addition to our collection and there are different reasons to think of why this is a real icon.

The 1960s we’re some very important years for the swiss watch industry. Lots of new sports watches emerged on the market and competition became more fierce. The urge of men to explore the depths was bigger than ever, resulting in an increasing demand for divers watches. Many different developments and design changes took place and some were more successful than others. Doxa designed this diver from scratch with the goal to bring a new affordable and super reliable diver to the watch market.

Is started off with the tonneau-shaped watch case for increased waterproofness and protection from the crown. This case was incredibly big for the time and aimed for more popularity among professional divers. The bright orange colour was chosen for the dial for increased readability underwater. The big seconds-hand and big tritium markers enhanced this legibility even more.

The watch is powered by an automatic movement with a date window on the 3 o’clock. This piece is equipped by a tropical rubber strap to complement the vintage character, however, straps are changeable upon request.
